Washing Machine Spin Speeds

Washing machine spin speeds go up to as high as 1600rpm. The higher the rpm (revolutions per minute) the more water will be extracted from your clothes, making for easier drying. Higher spin speeds are better for bulky items and cottons. Whereas lower spin speeds are better for delicate clothes such as silks.

Washing Machine Capacities

To work out which capacity you need, you’ll want to consider how many people live in your household and how many wash cycles you do per week. A larger capacity is useful if you are regularly washing large items like bedding and blankets for the whole family. If you have a larger drum and only wash a handful of clothes each week, this could result in energy and water wastage.
