About Belling

Belling was founded in 1912 with humble beginnings. Starting out with a small empty shed in Enfield, Charles Belling and two friends created their workshop from scratch. Many innovations followed and Belling became known for their engineering expertise. During both World Wars, Belling provided cooking solutions for British homes. At the time, less than 10% of the population owned a cooker. Charles Belling believed cookers should be accessible to everyone, so he focused on making innovative yet affordable cookers. This is still a core value of the Belling brand today.
