Every household needs a washing machine. Modern washing machines work harder than ever, with innovative features, better energy efficiency and larger capacities. There are lots of factors to consider when you are buying a new washing machine.
Depending on the design of your kitchen, the first thing you need to consider is if you want a freestanding or an integrated washing machine. Freestanding washing machines are often placed under a countertop or against a wall in your kitchen. Integrated washing machines are built into a kitchen unit and hidden by cabinetry. With a freestanding washing machine you have more flexibility in terms of where it can be installed. Because an integrated model is hidden behind your kitchen units it makes your kitchen feel more sleek and streamlined.
Washing Machine Spin Speeds
Washing machine spin speeds go up to as high as 1600rpm. The higher the rpm (revolutions per minute) the more water will be extracted from your clothes, making for easier drying. Higher spin speeds are better for bulky items and cottons. Whereas lower spin speeds are better for delicate clothes such as silks.
Washing Machine Capacities
The washing machines we supply come in various different drum sizes ranging from 7kg to a whopping 18kg capacity! To work out which capacity you need, you’ll want to consider how many people live in your household and how many wash cycles you do per week. A larger capacity is useful if you are regularly washing large items like bedding and blankets for the whole family. If you live on your own or in a smaller household, a smaller capacity would be more suitable. If you have a larger drum and only wash a handful of clothes each week, this could result in energy and water wastage.
Washing Machine Brands
We only supply washing machines from brands we trust. You can find a great selection of brands including household names like; LG, Samsung and Bosch. Whether you need a cheap replacement washing machine in a hurry, or a premium washing machine designed to last for many years to come, we have options to suit every budget.
