Limited Edition Inspiration; Smeg honours MG

Smeg is well known for its eye catching designs, and its latest creation from the Italian company does not disappoint!

Smeg is used to rubbing shoulders with some of the greatest companies in Motorsport as its base in Italy is only a stones throw away from the factories of Ferrari and Lamborghini. So when Smeg decided to set up their new UK headquarters it was only natural for it to be on the former site of a British Motorsport legend – MG.

To celebrate the move to Abingdon in Oxfordshire, Smeg have created a limited edition MG-inspired fridge. Like many of MG’s finest racing cars, this fridge proudly displays the iconic octagon badge and is finished in traditional British Racing green.

With 251 litres of capacity, a tropicalized compressor, an energy consumption of 180 kw/h per year, three adjustable glass shelves, a fruit and vegetable container, a chrome wine rack and 2kg of freezer capacity; the Smeg FAB28RDMG not only looks great but is extremely functional too!

In honour of the No.39 MG K3 that famously won the Italian Mille Miglia road race in 1933, only 39 of these outstanding fridges will be created making it a true Motorsport collectors item.
