Haier use an antibacterial treatment on their laundry appliances to ensure that mould and bacteria do not form in areas such as the detergent drawer; a more hygienic machine means more hygienic laundry! The direct drive motor operates without a belt which vastly reduces noise and vibration, it also improves the durability of the appliance.
