White sinks often lend themselves to a farmhouse style kitchen. Timeless and practical, white sinks are typically made of ceramic. Ceramic sinks are hard wearing and last for many years which is why they are often used in farmhouse kitchens. We do also offer a selection of Fragranite white sinks from Franke. Fragranite is made from quartz. This heat resistant and scratch resistant material is also extremely hygienic, which is essential when it comes to food prep.
Our collection of white sinks are supplied by leading brands Franke and Caple. There are three types of sink installations to choose from; inset, sit on and undermount. Sit on sinks, also more commonly known as Butler or Belfast sinks, are usually deep and wide. These sinks sit on top of the kitchen cabinets and look very appealing. Inset sinks are a popular choice as they are easy to install from above into a cut-out in your worktop. Undermount sinks are fitted underneath the worktop. Undermount sinks look particularly effective when you have a granite or wooden worktop. Undermount sinks create a sleek and seamless finish, which is ideal in a modern kitchen.
When choosing a new sink it is important to consider how many bowls you need. Our white sinks are available as either one bowl, 1.5 bowl or two bowl options. Some people prefer one larger bowl, whereas others enjoy the option of two bowls so you can rinse dishes in one and soak them in the other.
