Aroma G3 Grinder
Jura machines only use freshly ground, not capsuled coffee to ensure maximum flavour. By adjusting the grinder settings between levels 1 to 6 you can choose the intensity of the flavour to suit your preference. The fineness of the coffee powder affects the how long it takes for the water to flow through. Meaning the finer you grind the coffee powder, the stronger the intensity. Jura have created the AromaG3 Grinder with specific cutting angles that are designed to grind coffee in half the time, providing the perfect aroma every time.
Intelligent Water System with CLARIS Smart
Did you know that fresh cold water is the best way to achieve optimum coffee results? As coffee is 98% water, it is vital to keep the water as fresh as possible. Heating water causes calcium deposits which can build up over time and cause problems with your coffee machine, therefore Jura created the CLARIS plus filter cartridge. This filter protects against calcium so your coffee machine will last longer. It also means you don’t need to descale your appliance. The CLARIS filter keeps your water quality consistently high, resulting in high quality coffee every time. There’s no need for manual programming with this filter, the Intelligent Water System automatically detects when a filter has been inserted – handy!
Milk Foam Frother
Many speciality coffees including cappuccinos and lattes are prepared with milk. To achieve that barista quality coffee from home, Jura created their innovative milk foam frother which uses fine foam technology. This can heat the milk to your desired temperature as well as produce a finely textured milk foam with a long lasting consistency, so you can enjoy a frothy coffee whenever you need one!
Intelligent Pre Brew Aroma System
The Intelligent Pre Brew Aroma System is designed to develop the maximum flavour from your coffee. A Jura brewing unit can hold between 5g and 16g of coffee powder, meaning you can adapt the settings to suit your preference. The Intelligent Pre Brew Aroma System can decide how much water needs to be heated and adjusts it according to the type of coffee you’re making.
Pulse Extraction Process
The Pulse Extraction Process maximises the aroma for each type of coffee, even smaller coffees such as an espresso or ristretto. Water is pressed through the ground coffee in short bursts to ensure that each granule of coffee is reached, optimising the extraction time. Once the drink is poured, the brewing unit compounds the residual coffee powder and removes as much water as possible. The coffee grounds are then pushed into the container and the excess water is drawn out of the brewing unit and discharged into the drip tray.
